Hello all.Nice to meet you.
My name is Radoslav and i'm fro Bulgaria.I'd like to introduce mine VAZ 2106.I bought it an year ago from small town near Sofia, for the very good price of 500 Eu.I was searching for lada in good condition from 4 years.So finally i found it.

This is my love and my passion.Almost and year after bought this car i'm still very excited to have it.And this is not my first Lada, no sir-it's my fifth one!When i finished the documentation renewing, i started the restavration process-my plan is to dispatch every part of that car, to check the condition even of little ones, and to renew everything.
I must say that the car has some problems.Most important-it has a bad crash somewhere, somehow... many changed body parts, welded with Oxygene-Acetylene welder.I supose that this has hapened in 1980, because of the DOT of front window.So i disassemble the whole fornt part of the car, change some of them, and weld it again with MIG MAG.Now we started the underbody works.On the picture you will find the actuall status of the project.
For the mechanical-i will partialy rebuild the engine.Just waiting it's time.

So that's the most important-the car is 1978 born, on 28 000 milleage.

Nice car at all I have same model and same year. Your work is really nice. It's going to be a very nice veteran. Color and shape of interier is just awesome. Keep rocking, man!

By the way, your work with mark on mask is just unbelievable. What type of color you used on that? When I use any red color, it haven't these nice waves like original and like your mark.

I just first tap some transparent red spray (those one for painitng rear lights) with cotton stick... for ear.Then I stick silver mirror efect "folio" (i don't remmember the right word-excuse me).That gave those completely real look.
On some picture i compared it with original one for 2103.

What about the ZinkSpray you use? I have no my own practical experience with it. It is in use around but I can't trust it somehow. I can see you're very experienced. What do you think, is it really good option for the first coat of isolation paint applied on the bare metal? I'm worrying about its long-term stability.

Well it's not such a big deal, like it has to for it's price.Only it's a good solution for next layer of coating-good structure and perfect adhesion.For a anti-corosion purpose, there are cheaper solutions that gives the same waranty.

Let`s stay with english my friend everything elese (except czech, of course ) is difficult for translate for me . Few people here can speak russian, but lot of users not . Ladusa can speak english well, in fact, he really love foreign languages, I think, that english is his favorite . So keep us updated with your work. Your car is going to be better, than new .
